Weekend Inspiration

Some inspirational eye candy via Pinterest to get everyone pumped for the weekend. What’s everyone got planned? I’m taking the day off tomorrow, and doubling up on spin on Sunday (dragging my boyfriend to a class then teaching!) And hopefully getting some cooking done… Must. Not. Make. Treats.

Happy Friday, SEGR’s, don’t forget to get some rest this weekend! πŸ™‚

  1. Nice. I like. Great pics:) I’m currently studying to be a personal trainer, so I’m trying to workout extra mean and eat extra lean…….but I need extra motivation too!

Maybe you guys can help me out. My 2 biggest issues are 1. finding time to workout. I have a 9 month old baby, and when I still had the ‘baby belly’ look, I had now issues with motivation, but now that I look how i did before, I’m having trouble getting that workout in. Help? and 2. Eating too much at dinner. I’m good the rest of the day, but at dinner I always end up eating enough to make myself feel weighed down.

    Inspire me!

    • Wow, that’s awesome you’re on your way to becoming a trainer! You must be super busy with the baby too! Obviously neither of us have kids, so we’re not in your shoes, but really try to find just a half hour a day for yourself to work out. Maybe when your baby is napping? Get some workout DVD’s, a TRX system, a mat, an exercise ball, and some kettlebells, and just any free minutes you have, do quick little bursts. It doesn’t have to be 30 minutes at once, it could be 5 minute, 10 minute bursts here and there. Get creative! I do squats when I brush my teeth, or plie lunges πŸ™‚ Sounds silly but I think all the little stuff adds up. Don’t feel like you have to go to a gym to get a good workout in. Use your baby to chest presses!
As far as the food- we can’t tell you enough how much cutting out gluten, carbs, and processed foods have helped us. Our energy levels are high, never feel bloated after a meal, and we both lost the extra layer of love on our bellies. I know it sounds scary, but try it just for a week and see how you feel! Best of luck, let us know how it goes!! Thanks so much for stopping by

  2. Thanks for sharing… love! I love the last pick it is inspiration pick I have had on my phone for the last 6 months… I have it there to keep me motivated. I would love to look like her one day. πŸ™‚ Thanks for asking about my workout… it is fun to have to be accountable… I know it is Monday, I took the weekend away from computers. πŸ™‚ I ran 3.5 miles on Saturday and did an hour Boot Camp Class on Sunday. πŸ™‚ I love working out. πŸ™‚
