Cheapest Fruits and Vegetables by Month

I want to do a cannonball into this.

One of my friends just sent me this list, and it’s pretty much life changing.  Much to the dismay of my mother, I didn’t realize that fruits and vegetables were cheaper at certain times of the year (told you I’m new at this cooking stuff) Most of the time, I get so excited at all the colors (yes, colors) and freshness of the produce that I just load up my cart go into manic mode, scooping up everything in sight, only to find out that I’m spending $100 on fruits and veggies once a week. Awesome. So hopefully this guide will help me (and you!) make better decisions and show your bank statements some love.

  2. Great information! As much as I’d like to memorize this list, I think someone should make a colorful info graphic for easy referral. Actually, there’s probably one out there. Thanks for posting!
